What is your favorite place in Japan? Tell us why. Maybe next time a JASK member goes they can enjoy the same place.

My favorite place was the Osaka
Kansai International Airport
. I absolutely love airports, and this was the most amazing experience I'd ever had! The whole airport is on an enormous man-made island on Osaka Bay and it's just a fantastic experience taking off and landing there.
If you have the chance to fly to Japan, I recommend flying into KIX. It is a bit more expensive, but it is sure worth it.

I just spent a brief stint in Sapporo, Makomonai(?) base for annual training in '09, but I really enjoyed the city (the little bit I saw) The northern island was last on my list, but I'm glad I went there first, it seems to have a different feel to it. Of course Mos Burger was awesome, and I just enjoyed walking through the shopping areas. I can't wait to go back!
