    Our client in Central Kentucky is seeking a Bi-lingual (Japanese) Account Representative to manage the accounts for their Japanese customers.  The person selected for this position will help with reporting and translating and will be responsible for customers from start to finish (getting the order, order the parts, make sure the parts are shipped, help with pricing issues, and assist with Accounts Receivable / collections.)  Will serve as the intermediary between American client and Japanese customers.  Candidates must have very good Japanese communication ability (verbal, written, and reading).  Must also be proficient with Excel and have experience with SAP and JD Edwards.  Bachelor’s degree required (will consider a recent college graduate.) Client offers opportunity for advancement and excellent salary / benefits package.

    We're looking for a part-time Japanese language and cultural instructor to train busy executives.

    In this position, you'll work primarily in our Georgetown Classroom and teaching offsite at student locations such as in manufacturing facilities and corporate boardrooms, where you will facilitate understanding while also helping your students communicate across cultural borders.

    The ideal candidate is an experienced teacher with a high level of Japanese fluency (JLPT 1 or equivalent) who enjoys working with people of varied backgrounds, has some knowledge of manufacturing environments, and believes that mutual understanding is the first step to mutual success. The instructor will work closely with our client contacts to implement our existing curriculum focusing on cultural fluency and effective verbal and non-verbal communication. The instructor should also be capable of developing both existing and new resources to provide a continuously improving learning experience.

    Job Summary

    Translate/interpret for all types of internal/external communications covering a wide range of subject matters including but not limited to business, technical and non –technical areas.  Assist associates in creating documents and presentation materials in Japanese and English required for meetings and general communications. Provide training to lower level associates as well as serve as liaison for outside translation and interpretation request.  Travel and work overtime as required by projects.

    Japanese/English – speaking, writing, and translating

    Computer Skills – MS Office – especially Excel (formulas, graphs, etc.) Comfortable spending most of the day working on the computer

    YH America is a wholly owned Japanese supplier of automotive parts, sealants, adhesives and industrial products.  Located in Versailles, Kentucky we are looking to add the contract position of an Assistant Sales Administrator for the Industrial Division.  This position would be responsible for processing of sales orders in support of customer requirements for the Industrial Products Division.   This is accomplished through the following essential functions:

    o   Supplier Management:

    ·         Scheduled delivery of products to meet customer requirements

    ·         Prepares shipping paperwork to ensure timely delivery

    ·         Creates purchase order

    o   Coordination of Customer Requirements

    ·         Sets up customers

    ·         Enters and creates customer orders

    ·         Resolves discrepancies with inventory and

    POrevisions

    ·         Collaborates with accounting to ensure payment of invoices

    ·         Occasionally provide price and delivery under supervision

    o   Sales reporting:

    To perform this job successfully the candidate must have the following:

    • A High School Diploma and/or the ability to pass the standard YHAI employment selection test.

    • The ability to follow directions and create a plan to meet assigned goals.
    • The ability to identify and resolve problems at a professional level.
    • The ability to operate a computer and have experience with Microsoft Office software.
    • Experience in international trading is preferred.
    • Bi-lingual (Japanese and English) at business level is preferred.

    To meet the essential functions of this position the individual must be able to:

    • Occasionally lifts up to 40 lbs to lift office supplies
