A well-established tools trading company, recently acquired by a Japanese firm, is seeking a full time Japanese Bilingual Office Coordinator for their Lexington, KY location.
This role will support the company's operations, acting as a bridge between the US and Japanese sides of the business. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be fluent in both Japanese and English, and have experience in office administration.
DOE and skills, the pay range for this position would be around the 37k-43k mark. This position would also include benefits such as medical, dental, vision and health insurance, PTO and sick leave.
Your essential duties would be as followed:
Coordinate communication between US and Japanese offices
Manage office operations and administrative tasks
Assist with translation and interpretation when needed
Support sales team with administrative tasks and customer service
Handle scheduling, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination
Maintain office supplies and equipment
Assist with basic accounting and bookkeeping tasks
Support HR functions as needed
Please consider the following qualifications:
Fluency in Japanese and English (both written and spoken)
Bachelor's degree preferred
2+ years of office administration experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a multicultural environment
Knowledge of or interest in manufacturing tools is a plus
Experience with CRM systems preferred
