A Japanese logistics company is currently on the lookout for a full time, fully onsite, Japanese-English Bilingual Accounting Assistant Manager for their Winchester, KY location.

 

This role will be responsible for managing financial operations, liaising with their Japanese headquarters, and supporting the company's growth initiatives. This will be a temp (3 months) to direct hire position. 

 

DOE and skills, the pay range for this position would be between the 50k-70k mark.

This position also comes with benefits such as health insurance, 401k and PTO and potential relocation fee for the right candidate if needed.

 

Your essential duties would be as follows:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations using QuickBooks
  • Coordinate financial reporting between U.S. and Japanese offices
  • Support M&A activities and financial due diligence
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

 

Please consider the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in logistics or related industries
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience with international accounting practices preferred
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations and food logistics a plus
