A Japanese Manufacturing company in Georgetown,KY is currently looking for a full time, fully onsite Automation/ Robotics Engineer to join their team and  focus on the design, programming, and installation of robotic and automated welding systems for OEM and Tier 1 manufacturing plants.

DOE and skill, the pay range for this position would be between the 60k-70k mark with great benefits. 

Your main duties would be as follows: 

• System Design: Utilize ECAD and CAD software to design electrical controls and robotic system layouts.

• Robotics & Automation: Program, install, and troubleshoot various robot systems such as Kawasaki, Fanuc, and Denso.

• Technical Integration: Apply welding and electrical expertise to the design and fabrication of automated equipment.

• Project Debugging: Power on equipment, debug software, and conduct in-house trials before site delivery.

• On-site Commissioning: Oversee the installation and final setup of automated systems at customer facilities.

• Technical Support: Troubleshooting and maintenance of existing robotic cells and conveyor interfaces.

Please consider the following qualifications when applying: 

• Experience: Practical experience with robotics (Fanuc, Kawasaki, etc.) and automated manufacturing systems.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in ECAD/CAD design and knowledgeable in welding and electrical systems.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an Associate degree with applicable field experience.

• Mobility: Must be willing to travel up to 35% for project installations.
