Georgetown Cherry Blossom Festival at the Yuko-En

Consul General, Mr. Hiroshi Sato, will make remarks at the Opening Ceremony Saturday, April 16, beginning at 10:30am.  

In addition to wonderful cultural activities, including kiln house firing demonstrations, origami and calligraphy lessons, and garden tours, this year's event will include a 5k race!  This year, a significant portion of the proceeds from the parking fee and race sponsorships will go to disaster relief in areas of Japan affected by the March earthquakes and tsunami.

Anyone interested in sponsoring the race can do so for as little as $75 by filling out this form!  Your name will be featured on the race t-shirt and you will be contributing to a fantastic cause.
