San Jose Taiko is a world-class ensemble, with many performances both nationally and internationally. More than 100,000 people each year attend these performances. From studying with masters of various other styles and cultures; San Jose Taiko has created a unique sound of Japanese drumming with African beats as well as Balinese, Brazilian, Latin and Jazz. Deeply respecting other cultures, they advance Taiko through innovative performances and educational programs.
