A Japanese Trading company is currently looking for a full time, fully onsite Japanese Bilingual Account Representative (Supply Chain Associate) to join their Georgetown, KY location.

 

The company is looking for a detail-oriented individual to support supply chain and inventory management functions, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through accurate order processing, data analysis, and effective communication with clients and suppliers.

 

DOE and skills, the pay range for this position would be between the 50k-60k with great benefits.

 

Your essential duties would be as follows:

  • Calculate material orders and manage supplier deliveries.
  • Control inventory by balancing customer demand and supplier schedules to avoid shortages or aged inventory.
  • Analyze data to proactively address potential supply chain issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Place sales orders and arrange timely deliveries, communicating closely with customers.
  • Determine pricing for parts using supplier quotes and standardized quotations, create and manage sales and gross profit budgets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers through daily follow-up.
  • Set up new parts in the database using customer specifications.
  • Coordinate just-in-time (JIT) deliveries with suppliers, transportation partners, and customers.
  • Assist with accounting and quality control issues as needed.
  • Attend and facilitate group meetings, effectively communicating with multiple stakeholders.

 

Please consider the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in supply chain management but not required).
  • 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in team settings.
  • Knowledge of flat roll metals (steel and aluminum) is a plus.
  • Proficient basic computer skills, including Microsoft software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interpret documents, write reports, and present to groups.
  • Mathematical skills to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to deal with situations with limited standardization.
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, walk, and lift/move up to 20 pounds; travel may be required.
