A Japanese Logistics Transportation & Logistics company is currently looking for a full time, fully onsite Japanese Bilingual Outside Sales Representative to join their Florence, KY location.
This position is being added to support continued business growth. The role covers IN, OH, KY, and parts of Northern TN, focusing primarily on the automotive industry.
DOE and skills, the pay range for this position would be between 70k-90k with great benefits.
Your essential duties would include the following:
- Conduct outside sales activities (approx. 2–3 days/week; no overnight stays required)
- Manage both new and existing accounts (ratio adjusted based on experience)
- Prepare quotations and proposals
- Communicate with overseas agents (mainly by email in English)
- Coordinate with internal operations and support teams
- Respond to customer inquiries and visit customers upon requests from domestic/overseas agents
- Handle a portfolio of approximately 20–50 accounts
- Travel as needed (about once every two months; some visits may involve a 4-hour one-way drive)
Please consider the following qualifications when applying:
- 3+ years of professional logistic sales experience (5–10 years preferred)
- Logistics industry experience, preferably with a freight forwarder or Logistics experience in a manufacturing company
- Basic PC skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- English and Japanese proficiency sufficient for email communication; daily conversation level for meetings
- Valid driver’s license
