    A Japanese manufacturing company is currently looking for a full time, fully onsite Japanese Bilingual Office Administrator to join their Lexington, KY location.

     

    The role will manage essential office operations with a focus on accounting and human resources. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth financial processes, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll management, while also supporting HR functions and translating business documents between English and Japanese.

     

    DOE and skills, the pay range for this position would be around the 45k-60k mark with great benefits such as medica, dental and life insurance, simple IRA at 3% and PTO.

     

    Your essential duties would be as follows:

    • Responsible for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll.
    • Issue Invoices, (occasionally quotations and purchase orders as well.)
    • Track A/R balance and contact customers if needed. Pay bills as part of daily duties.
    • Track employees’ work hours and paid time off days
    • Run payroll biweekly and prepare/submit the withholding taxes and forms.
    • Prepare the state sales and use tax return on an annual basis (frequency might change.)
    • Report financial statements, such as profit &amp; loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statement to Japan headquarters monthly.
    • Process monthly closing, including bank accounts reconciliation.
    • Work closely with an outside CPA to prepare corporate income tax returns.
    • Handle employee benefits, such as health/dental/voluntary insurance and retirement plan.
    • Record and maintain employee business mileage and travel expenses.
    • Translate business documents from English to Japanese, or vice versa.
    • Assist non-English speaking Japanese personnel in general professional and personal matters.

     

    Please consider the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
    • Proven experience in office administration, accounting, and payroll processing.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
    • Excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese.
    • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Previous experience working with corporate tax preparation is preferred.

    A Japanese manufacturing company focusing on the automotive industry is currently looking for a full time, fully onsite Stamping Manufacturing Engineer to join their Berea, KY location.

     

    The candidates must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of dies, blueprints, and stamping equipment that is used in a Stamping Department and Tool & Die Maintenance shop. The candidate must be able to maintain existing tools and equipment to acceptable quality standards. Must follow all safety practices and procedures set forth by the company, complete working knowledge of plant operations specializing in the stamping department, possess excellent math skills. Candidates must be able to utilize computer programs to assist with troubleshooting problems.

     

    DOE and skills, the pay range for this position would be between the 75k-90k mark with benefits such as health, vision, dental and life insurance as well as PTO and a 401k plan with 3% matching.

     

    Your essential duties would be as follows:

    •   Repair machine and equipment defects
    •    Identify technologies to improve operational efficiency
    •    Determines what equipment, materials, tooling, and methods of manufacturing are needed to meet customer demand
    •    Develops tooling layouts for stamping dies.
    •    Troubleshoot stamping dies and presses to determine root cause of failures
    •    Work directly with the tooling engineer and quality department to develop new and more efficient dies to replace aging tooling.
    •    Develops drawings and other engineering documentation to improve manufacturing processes and product quality
    •    Provides technical support for cost-saving projects
    •    Develop standardized work instruction, setup procedures and supporting documentation
    •    Comply with all environmentally safe practices and regulations
    •    Reads all SDS’s and possesses thorough knowledge of all oil and chemical labeling and storage requirements
    •    Performs other related duties as assigned or requested

     

    Please consider the following qualifications:

    •    Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or 3 years of relevant experience.
    •    3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering with an emphasis in die stamping/die design.
    •    Familiarity with manufacturing designs or schematics
    •    Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
    •    Knowledge of Stamping Machines and Dies i.e., Progressive, Tandem, Transfer Presses
    •    Use of new technology and ability to improve processes and troubleshoot issues.
    •    Machine/tool improvements for Safety, operator efficiency, part quality
    •    Meets schedules for production and launches
    •    Improvements to existing equipment and processes
    •    Coordinates die improvements and design changes
    •    Maintain schedule and budget for new tools
    •    Work with other engineers in the group to improve machine/tool reliably and safety
    •    Ensure that machines will produce parts to meet customer demands in cost, quality, and quantity
    •    Coordinates die trials and develop countermeasures
    •    Assist maintenance in trouble shooting
    •    Work with problem solving team to meet customer demands 
    •    Assist in standardizing work methods for technicians
    •    Develop visual management for PM activities
    •    Improve first run capability and reduce downtime
    •    Working knowledge of production and quality control procedures used in a manufacturing environment.
    •    Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
    •    Reads blueprints.
    •    Uses computer software (MS Office): Excel, Word; PowerPoint.
    •    Tool design and process development.
    •    Experience in CAD programs, Autodesk Inventor preferred.
    •    Experience on the following machines: Grinder/ Lathe/ Overhead Crane/ Various precision measuring devices
     •   Candidate must possess a “Can Do” Attitude along with excellent interpersonal skills to successfully communicate with all levels of associates.
    •    Must have previous Stamping/Tooling Experience

    A Japanese logistics company is currently on the lookout for a full time, fully onsite, Japanese-English Bilingual Accounting Assistant Manager for their Winchester, KY location.

     

    This role will be responsible for managing financial operations, liaising with their Japanese headquarters, and supporting the company's growth initiatives. This will be a temp (3 months) to direct hire position.
